Ravioli Lasagna

Ingredients

1 jar marinara sauce

6-8 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded

½ lb Italian sausage

24 oz package cheese ravioli

Directions

Brown sausage in skillet and drain

Cover bottom of 9x13 pan with ⅓ of the tomato sauce, cover with ½ the ravioli, then ½ sausage, ½ the cheese.

Add 1/3 of the tomato sauce again, followed by the ravioli, sausage, remaining tomato sauce, and the remainder of the cheese.

Cover with foil and bake in 400° oven for 45 minutes. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

A variety of different ravioli flavors may be used to make different versions. I initially used spinach and cheese ravioli. Plain cheese will work well. Meat and cheese is another option. Adjust the ingredients to your tastes or to what is available at the store.
